Prints decorate. Originals belong. A short note on what changes when a handmade work comes home.
There is a moment, usually a few days after a painting is hung, when the room stops being the same room. Guests pause at it. Mornings start with it. It becomes the thing the space is arranged around, rather than something arranged within it.
An original carries the decisions of its maker — the pressure of a brush, a colour mixed and never mixed again, the small corrections that only the artist knows are there. A print reproduces the image. It cannot reproduce that.
Every work on Methi's Virasat is made by an artist we know by name, in a tradition we can trace. When you bring one home you bring the artist's village, their training and their lineage with it — and you become part of how that story continues.
